On 9 March 2022, education workers were on strike.

In mid-February, health care workers, nurses, care assistants, cleaners, cooks and many others stopped work and gathered outside their workplaces. As a sign of solidarity, workers from other sectors supported them.

Cedra members supported the strikers on the ground and drew attention to the difficult situation, the lack of staff, the poor working conditions and the progressive privatisation of the health and care sector. These strikes are proof that we must choose a quality public service system that is accessible to all, i.e. parents, the elderly, workers and the local community.
