The Impact Of Covid-19 On The Working Class And The Poor In Africa

Accueil > Internacional (Port) > Africa > The Impact Of Covid-19 On The Working Class (...)

The International Labour Network of Solidarity and Struggles inviter for Saturday 23 October the international seminar on "The Impact of Covid-19 on the working class and the poor in Africa”.

The pandemic that has already killed more than 4.5 million people in the world, in addition to death, has deepened the destruction of the living conditions of the working class, especially in Africa. While the imperialist countries are vaccinating their population en masse and restart unrestricted economic activities, the African continent is bitter about having vaccinated only 3% of its population, a true picture of the Apartheid of Vaccination, ruled by economic and racist inequality !

The objective of this meeting is to think of initiatives to unify the struggle of African workers through the exchange of experiences and reflections of African activists on the impact of Covid-19 on the working class, the consequences on the economy and the health system and the role of governments and the African bourgeoisie in the face of the health and economic crisis.

The meeting will be entirely virtual and requires prior registration [click here] for the participant to receive the participation link.
